Sage's Song (Pumpkinheads™) Animated Book Trailer

I had the fun opportunity to animate this trailer for an awesome children's book called "Sage's Song".

"Sage's Song" is part of the Pumpkinheads™ children's book series. If you have young children, check out the books here. You can also view more videos and trailers here.

I received Adobe Illustrator artwork created for the book by illustrator & animator Matthew Wilson and creator & author Karen Kilpatrick. I used a combination of Flash, After Effects and Blender 3d to animate the art.

I did some minor editing, no animation from me (other than the end screen), on the trailer for "Ella's Toys":

The Art & Animation of Segun O. Mosuro.

Segun O. Mosuro is a Nigerian Animator. He is currently the Head Animator at Plasmoid9 Productions (Lagos).

He is skilled in many disciplines in the animation production pipeline, including: Storyboarding, Character Design, Layout, Background Design and Character Animation.

Segun attended Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA, where he earned a BFA in Animation and Visual Effects (2007). He later studied Multimedia at California State University, East Bay, where he earned a MFA in Multimedia (2012).

He began his career as a freelance storyboard artist. He went on to freelance design and animate commercials, explainer videos and animated music videos.

He worked at EVCL Studios (2014) as an animator on the first season of Bino & Fino, an African animated TV Series, designing secondary characters and incidentals, creating layouts and background designs, designing props and effects, rigging and animating characters.

He briefly worked on remotely on the indie live-action - animation hybrid - Desert Mirage (2016), where he contributed rough animation for 2 shots.
